This audio tour will take you to the main points of interest across these wonderful gardens. The tour introduces you to many of the significant plants, trees and features found within Birr Castle Gardens. After you have chosen to ‘Start tour’ from the main menu, individual Tour Points will be triggered by GPS as you walk around the gardens. You can then page forward to hear and see more about the other plants and features that can be seen around you.
If you want to look ahead or listen again to other Tour Points you can either select them from the ‘Map’ or ‘List’ options.
There are 38 numbered Tour Points on the map. You can then use the Tour to find additional points, plants and trees of special interest within the vicinity of the numbered Tour Point. In all there are some 90 points of interest distributed across the gardens
